Hungry Plants

Open Days 13th and 14th July 2024

Our next open days will be held in July, when the pitcher plants should be looking their best.

The large greenhouse houses the sarracenia collection, and the new bog and pond are located alongside.

If you cannot make those days you can arrange a visit to see the collection and buy plants at another time.
Some of the plants are in limited quantities, so please make a reservation or order for the plants you would like by emailing your list to

keithwilson9(at)me.com

The address is:
Bruggen 46,
5243 RB Rosmalen,
The Netherlands

Next open days:

13th and 14th July 2024

Time: 13:00-17:00

The location of Hungry Plants is shown below, at the upper right of the map.

From the A2 take the exit 'Rosmalen' and follow signs to Rosmalen. Go straight across at the first set of traffic lights east of the A2. Follow this road until you come to the first roundabout, and go right. At the next roundabout in Rosmalen go left and you are now on the road Schoolstraat that becomes Bruggen. Follow this for 1.5 km until you see fields behind the houses to the right. Bruggen 46 is a large farmhouse, a few houses along on the left, built ontop of the old dyke. There is a drive / parking area on the right hand side of the house. See also:  Bruggen 46 on Google maps

It is a 15 minute walk from Rosmalen train station (also shown, on the bottom right of the map) (Den Bosh - Nijmegen stop train) to the house. Trains arrive / depart twice an hour (once an hour on sundays during the day).

No plants are collected from the wild. All propagation is done artificially from division, rhizome cuttings or seed from artificially grown plants.
